CRAIG HALTOM PRESIDENT, OGM
Craig Haltom President, Oliphant Golf Management
Education: B.A. Environmental Studies, Manchester College
Master of Landscape Architecture, Heriot-Watt University, Scotland, UK
Craig leads Oliphant Golf Management, very much hands-on and in the field, with a talented team of managers based in Central Wisconsin. Craig is also an active golf course architect and builder, and has a growing portfolio of high profile golf renovation work in the Midwest.
Craig began work for Oliphant Golf in 2001, after living in Scotland for three years, where he completed a graduate degree in landscape architecture and studied the great links courses of Great Britain and Ireland. His work experience has touched on almost every aspect of building and running golf courses. From changing cups as a golf course superintendent, to merchandising and marketing, he's learned the business by digging in and solving problems.
Craig has been instrumental in the development of Mike Keiser’s newest golf resort, Sand Valley, in Rome, WI, where he initially discovered the property and continues to work as the golf construction lead for the development team.
