Nakoma Golf Club is one of Wisconsin’s premier country clubs. The Club was founded in 1923, and the original course routing by Tom Bendelow remains intact. Nakoma has a long and distinguished history of hosting important statewide golf events, and maintains a large and active golfing Membership. Club facilities also include outdoor tennis courts, an Olympic sized pool, and a well appointed Clubhouse with private meeting rooms and banquet halls that accommodate up to 250 people.
Nakoma is located adjacent to the University of Wisconsin’s Arboretum, near downtown Madison and within the historic Nakoma neighborhood. The course’s proximity to the UW Arboretum provides a beautiful and quiet setting for golf, where Members can expect to share the fairways with wild turkeys, deer, and families of sand hill cranes.
